Susan L. Curry, M.D.
Founder and Medical Director

Dr. Curry started Women’s Center for Radiology as a place for Central Florida women to have their imaging needs met in a safe, gentle environment.

Dr. Curry is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. She completed her fellowship training at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she was an Instructor in Radiology, an Assistant Professor of Radiology, and Chief of Nuclear Medicine services.

Dr. Curry is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Mensa, as well as a variety of other organizations and societies including the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging. She has also been featured on many local TV stations and in newspaper articles.

Dr. Curry has been actively involved in several clinical trials. She has been reading mammograms since 1978 and has been performing breast biopsies since 1992. Dr. Curry is very involved in numerous health care forums educating other physicians and the community about women’s health.

DrMiller Julie M. Miller, M.D.
Diagnostic Radiologist 
Dr. Miller graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.  She completed her radiology residency and finished her Breast Fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.  Prior to joining Women’s Center for Radiology, she served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force as Chief of Mammography and Ultrasound at Eglin AFB, FL.  Her last position was Co-Chief Mammographer at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY.  She is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and a member of the Society of Breast Imaging.  Dr. Miller has appeared in television and radio programs, and frequently speaks on the subject of women’s health, carrying her message to the community.
DrGros Kimberly E. Gros, M.D.
Diagnostic Radiologist 
Dr. Gros completed her medical school training at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine.  She completed her residency and fellowship in mammography and body imaging at the University of Michigan Medical School, in Ann Arbor, MI.  Prior to joining the Women’s Center for Radiology, Dr. Gros was Assistant Professor of Radiology for 11 years at the University of Florida Department of Radiology at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.  She is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology.  Her special interests are in women’s health with a focus on mammography and abdominal imaging.
Diane Horowitz, M.D.

Diagnostic Radiologist Originally from New York, Dr. Horowitz has been practicing Radiology in the Central Florida area since 1994.  She is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Horowitz received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her medical degree from the State University of  New York.  She completed her residency in Radiology at the University of Texas in San Antonio and a fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and ultrasound at the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston.Dr. Horowitz taught at the University of Texas as an Assistant Professor of Radiology before relocating to Central Florida.
